Default Woodhaven bandsaw fence

does anyone have this who would be willing to give me their opinion on it? I want to use it on a Delta 28-276 bandsaw.
Thanks,
Paul

I've got the Kreg BS Fence+Micro Positioner on my ridgid--very nice. Looks like the Woodhaven pivots, i handle that with my miter gauge. Seems like the miter gauge set an angle with the fence perpindicular to the blade would result in less run-out, but i'm only sensing that, no science to analyze it!!

I couldn't find but one review and that from Amazon. It was good though. I just thought some good first hand information from someone here would be better.

Coincidence that I was looking at and researching bandsaw fences and extension tables today and thought to start my own thread (still might)...

Wood Magazine had some good Editor Test Drive reviews of the Woodhaven, Kreg and Rockler:
Woodworking Tool Review: Bandsaw Fences

On inspection of the promo pictures though, something someone else said stuck in my mind... He said his fence stayed on his BS all the time, but not by choice. His band saw fence had to slide off the right end, so he would have to remove his blade to get the fence off. Hard to see by those pictures if those fences fell into that group.

This video gave me some ideas though:

Mike--the Kreg lifts off for sure. Can't speak to the others.

I had the Kreg with the micro adjuster and after the initial few uses didn't really find it that useful, it proved just to be another $100 dollar + gadget. The fence is only as accurate as your bandsaw (I had it on a Rigid at the time) Any fence including a homemade one will do the same thing. The micro adjuster was nice but I could never get the saw to accurately cut down to the same degree that the fence was capable of adjusting to.

That bandsaw fence seems like solid ones. Are you gettin' it? Well, band saw fence would be on my list if I want some upgrades on my band saw.
