You should have started with a search. Using "Bandsaw Mill Plans" gives this. http://www1.search-results.com/web?l=dis&q=BANDSAW+MILL+PLANS&o=APN10645&apn_dtid =^BND406^YY^US&shad=s_0041&apn_uid=302851035157439 3&gct=ds&apn_ptnrs=AG6&lang=en&atb=sysid%3D406%3Aa ppid%3D473%3Auid%3D1bba17739db7fd63%3Auc%3D1361119 679%3Asrc%3Dieb%3Ao%3DAPN10645

If that doesn't do it, use a different search phrase.

Carl; what's available in S. Africa? Do you have to import this equipment?
How much timber will you be cutting? Big range of capacities in the commercial products.
Is this the sort of size you're looking for?

Carl. Rather than sending this by PM to you, decided to post it so everyone interested gets the benefit. The plans are upside down - must have been written in Oz. LOL bandsaw mill plans free to a good home

Hi Carl ..........

During my travels last summer at Oshkosh Wis. I watched a demo of the LITTLE RIPPER which is essentially a jig to use on a band saw and allows cutting pieces of log up to 14" dia but only a few ft long although it handles all kinds of ugly shapes that wood workers might want to use for grain effect. I'm not sure it your thinking construction lumber or odds and end of wood for small projects but the following link puts you into Stockroom supply web sit and in their online catalogue page on 66 & 67 you will find the little ripper. I have no use for such a thing but it seems to work neat.
