I havent gone with the french cleat style, but I did go with recycled slat wall that I got VERY CHEAP. I like the infinite adjustability, and that the hooks don't come falling out all the time.

i did that other one i posted on the other thread. the hook and slat system (hyper-organize your shop)

i first tried a french cleat system, but i had a problem with the cleats not holding well, but IIRC, i used 30 degree cleats, not 45 degree.

i'd be happy to post pics of what i have for that system if you'd like. i don't have lots of fancy hangers though, at least not yet.
