Default Is It Just Me #2..???

Have you ever noticed, or it just me, but it seems that when dispensing glue that I never can get just the right amount, I seem to always get a little to much or not quite enough, and don't mean, just a little bit to much or just a little bit not enough, maybe it's just me. Now I am, in most case, talking about pouring glue onto a flat surface so that a brush can be used to actually apply the glue to the surfaces that need to be glued together. As I said, "Is It Just Me"?

Have you every brought honey in one of those little plastic bear shaped dispensers? A left over honey dispenser makes a great glue bottle.

BJ,
Did you ever wonder if maybe, just maybe, I might just start a thread like this one to seen what kind of responses I might get, wonder, wonder if I would ever do that?

+1 Sometimes that's at least half the fun

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Jerry,

try an old credit card with the edges notched to trowel out your glue. I have had a few laminations fail because of too little glue.

I have been frustrated many times with the same problem... most often when I am in a hurry. Then it is usually too much glue, and it gets all over my clamps... messy

The glubot and baby glubot are a big help as well. Also admitting to yourself that 'extra' glue won't help if your pieces have a bad fit!
