Default How To Use TS LS System With The Incra Express Sled...

The Incra Express Sled used with the Incra Miter Gauge and fence with stops is a fine tool with only one short comeing for me, that being my limited vision. So here is what I have learned to do. When needing to crosscut a narrow workpiece to length and not wanted to do the cutting on the TS due to the danger that has been discussed to great extent on this forum. So, here is what I have done. I set the TS LS to the length that I want to make the cut and cut into the workpiece just part way, then set up the Express sled and set the workpiece with the partial cut against the fence on the sled and line it up with the blade with the initial partial cut, once that is accomplished, I set the stop and can then make multiple cuts of the same desired length. Don't have to use a tape measure to first set the stop or try to read the hard to see scale on the fence. I works fo rme.
