Default Used Griz 8" jointer

Hi
I just purchased a used 8" Grizzly jointer- that a friend of mine who has passed, used for a number of years

I didn't look at it carefully enough and now discover that the infeed & outfeed tables are frozen and can't be adjusted.

Does anyone know where I can get information on removing these tables so I can clean and lube them and get this jointer up-and-running??

Did you unscrew the locking screws?

I would call Grizzly and connect with their techs.. The call is free and they are very helpful. Kerry

Grizzly has many product manuals online, you might try their site.

Like Joe said- Grizzly has most manuals on line. Some of their techs are really good and some are so-so. -if you don't mind being on hold! I have a 8" Grizzly at home and we have a 8" Delta in our main shop that the parts look to be interchangeable - they are made in the same factory- so a Delta manual may help also.

Hey Guys
Thanks a lot for your help-- I've been away since last Friday for the Independence Day
weekend-- it's nearly 10:00pm ET and I just got home a few minutes ago
I've contacted Grizzly and am awaiting their reply

Check your manual; I think there's a nut or screw that holds it, you have to loosen it and clean with lubricant cleaners or penetrating oil.
