Default Powermatic drill press

Picked this little jewel up for $75.00, 1977 model 1150A, had a 5 hr round trip to pick it up. I gave her a quick look over for problems, none found, and put it to work. I have a table to put on it somewhere.....Patience is the key on CL.

Wow, great score!!

If you can't find your table, I've got an okay home-built table i'll sell you for the other several hundred $ you didn't spend!!

great score...but can you sleep at night after a steal like that...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

I hear the pain fella's.......Earl, thanks for the offer, I found one of my other tables, I'm thinking target practice on it...I have a couple more, have to check at the other shop.

Well thank you for the concern Stick...LOL, Yeah, I sleep good at night, he was wanting 150 for it.

Close to a year ago found a PM 66 for $350, same 5 hour round trip just a different direction.

I have to check CL within 150- 200 miles because there is nothing locally.

$75 is about what the motor is worth. Nice find.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Jim, that's some brake cleaner that was in the truck and I just sat it there to unlock the shop doors. The rust wasn't bad, looks like it in the photo. I didn't try to get it showroom clean, just some paste wax and she was ready to go. I don't get into the refurbishment, don't have the time.
