Default Finally had to retire the old girl!!

I'm not sure how old it is, or even where I got it. I believe my grandfather gave it to me and it was my first power tool. Well all good things must come to an end, it has become nearly impossible to find blades for her, and forget finding any "Good" blades. She will now enjoy a spot on a shelf collecting dust created by her replacement!!

hahaahahaahaahhaaa... I have that same B&D but haven't used it for years. I have a Craftsman that, believe it or not, works better than the B&D. But, that ain't saying much.... Someday. I'll get a decent one.

Here is my old Sears jig saw I retired. Got a DeWalt just like you did.
Just do not make them like they used to. Solid cast iron.

Just remember what my father always said, " Half the people in this world are below average!", and everything in life will make a hellova lot more sense.

LMAO!! I don't believe it. The last thing I expected was for someone to say, "I have the same B&D.

WOW MBAR57 that was my 1st JS! Sad to say mine didn't last long, maybe 3 projects over a 3 to 4 yr period. 2 of the projects was a poker table made from commercial electrical spool and a water bed frame made from construction lumber.

I finally threw mine out and bought a new jig saw a couple of years ago.

Hi, sorry I missed you. I have gone to find myself, but if I return before I get back, please ask me to wait.

I seem to remember dad having one of those, and a matching drill too.

Oh, I remember my dad's drill, had a two tone body, the gearbox was a lighter shade.
