Default Cabinet Plywood Grades

In my last post dear Wood Worker I told you I was re-finishing the kitchen cabinets and I posted a couple of questions that were quickly answered by my friends at Router Forums. Well, now of course I have another question and this concerns the plywood I will be using in my flat panel frame doors. Specifically, I need 1/4 plywood for the panels and the best I can find on-line is 1/4" Red Oak PS A2 Good 2 sides. Is this acceptable or should I be looking for A1 plywood. Does anyone know where to find Red Oak 1/4 inch plywood that is A1? Do you have a favorite source to buy plywood from? Should I bite the bullet and go solid raised face panels? Remember, this is my first time doing this so I figure the learn curve will be more gentle on the flat panel rather than raised face. Besides I only have a 2.25 HP router, Porter Cable Model 890.

I am open to any and all suggestions you may have on this subject.

Sincerely,

Jim M.

A2 is A grade on two sides
A1 is A grade on one side... pot luck on the other side..

A2 is preferred for cabinets...

very good outfit..

I prefer flat panels to raised...clean lines. I have found 30x60 Baltic Birch ply at Rockler in 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4, but you have to choose carefully to get a really flat piece.
