Default Cabinets in progress

So, other than the two cabinets I built for my miter station, I've never built cabinets before.

The miter station cabinets were built as a test run for these.

The pictures below are of a bathroom vanity I built for a house we are building for my wife's grandmother. I still need to build the false drawer fronts and the doors but I still need to decide which profile I want to use so I can order the router bits. The doors will be shaker style.

I have started on kitchen cabinets for a second house we are building for my sister in law. Pictures will follow of those as I get them finished.

Dustin, I had to build our vanity first to prove to my wife (and I think, myself) that I could build our kitchen cabinets. Not only save money (not sure how much we saved, since wood is not cheap!!), but they are better made then the cabinets we could have afforded, anyway... Ours made of REAL wood!! LOL

Hey, they don't count, unless you're never going to build cabinets again. The more you build, the more the cost is spread over units built.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it!

What's crazy are the prices for the router bits to build doors

look to the Freud Quadra-cut bits and get your mileage...

Update. Here's some pictures of the kitchen cabinets I built for my sister in law. They are not installed in these pictures but have since been mounted.
