Default Wooden hand planes

For those of you who have such oddities or ever wondered how to set the blade, this link maybe helpful:

Adjusting Wooden-bodied Planes - Popular Woodworking Magazine

Myself, I 'nevva' acquired the knack of adjusting a wood bodied plane. As always, and especially as with so much in woodworking, the BLOGs, You Tube videos, etc., make it look all so easy and very quickly done....

At my Rockler a couple of years ago, one of their employees did a two weekend thing on making a wood plane, and how to use it. I bought a Hock blade, and some nice wood, but then didn't get around to making the darn thing. I think they are pretty nice to work with and not really that hard to adjust. Light taps are all that's necessary.,

The more I do, the less I accomplish.
