Lightbulb Luthier's Masking Tape and Superglue Trick

I am currently watching this series, where Master Luthier Ben Crowe attempts to build a custom electric guitar, by hand, in 12 hours. There are 24 episodes in the series, each approximately 30 minutes long. It is probably not to everybody's taste, but do watch it as far as the first showing of the "Luthier's Masking Tape and Superglue Trick". I hope that you find it useful.

Nickp likes this.

When my time comes, I want to die like my grandfather did - quietly, and in his sleep - not kicking and screaming like the passengers in his car.

Stick, that looks like a setting has changed in your browser or Flash needs an update, possibly a change in your security settings in your firewall. Try a different browser and see what you get...

Gene,

Thanks. I hadn't spotted that.

But the build video shows the trick being used over and over and over again.

Stick, there are many possible causes. You should Google the message. Here is one interesting possibility:-

Are you using the Web of Trust (WOT) app in Firefox? Go to settings and then advanced if you are and check the settings.

What other apps are you using?

Try disabling your apps and then enable them, one by one, to identify the culprit. Once you have, check the setting for that app. Something has been changed.

Hi, sorry I missed you. I have gone to find myself, but if I return before I get back, please ask me to wait.
