Congratulations Mike , I love your work, and since I know nothing about CNC, your knowledge exceeds mine by a bunch.

Thanks everyone, just think yesterday I couldn't even spell Contributor, and now I are one. Thanks to the Administrators for counting all my 20 of my votes and the one extra one from some one fooled into voting for me..
@hawkeye10 LMAO, I was hoping you could show me a few tricks.

Go Harbor Freight!

Mike, glad to finally have an official CNC guy. Really looking forward to reading your posts. That gadget is pretty compelling. I'd love to see you write a really complete treatise on getting started with CNC, something like the 17 Things I started a few years ago. Takes some work, but I think it would be very much appreciated and would save you a lot of future effort responding to newbies.

I know there are many different opinions and points of view, but maybe you could incororate others' experiences and input on brands and software you don't use. I'd also love to get your input on preferred wood stock for different purposes. I bet you could collaborate with Oliver on it, and I'm sure Cricket would love to have it as a permanent item. Again, congratulations.

Wow that is a big order, he is going to be busy, might have to hire a secretary. (to do the woodworking while he does the writing).
Don't ask me to write a treatise, it probable be in direct violation of forum rules and probably not printable to boot.

Herb - are you practicing, cause you posted the same thing twice. And..... you can save your "treatise" for when Canada goes to war with the U.S. (nothing political here folks, so don't get your panties bunched up)

If we send anything south I hope it's snow. Last couple of winters we had more than we needed.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
