5 so far . FesTool 1400 for plunging etc , 2-PC 7518-2 ( motor only) , was going to build a double router table with a lifting system to change heights . I say was ,cause I haven't gotten to it yet .
I have my original Makita plunge router permanently secured to my circle jig , and I have a PC 690 that I wanted to mount in my table saws wing someday

Definitely Charles! I mean, anything I needed to route, I always used this big boy. I like it, don't get me wrong, but with health issues, if I can do something a little easier, then it can help me be ready for the bigger jobs. :-)

Oh the reason I thought I goofed up was from the post called: Should polls be closed after 1 year, because they are all saying that older posts are no longer relevant...

But I am glad someone is happy to see the old posts come up for nostalgic reasons. :-)

And I even like the idea of having 2 of each, like Stick is talking about. I do that with my 2 drills sometimes. One has a drill bit and the other has a screw driver bit or whatever combo comes about.

Your updates have been duly noted Tom! haha

Well, come on Rick! Let's get this little project going; maybe you can get Arrrnold to help? lol

Default Two routers

I have a Triton MF001 in a shop built table (pictures in the "Show us your table" thread) and a 25 year old 1/2 hp Makita that is OK but is a giant PITA to set up.

I am thinking of buying another Triton for above the table use. I got the Makita for free, so haven't been in a hurry to abandon it.

<Chas>

I'll burn that bridge when I come to it

Default Here are my routers...

...My routers as follows:

Hitachi M12v2 (in the router table)
Mitachi M12v2 (Yep, two, this one is for my router planing jig)
Bosch 1617 Combo Kit (Primary hand held router)
Bosch Colt (Can't say how much fun I have with this thing!)
DeWalt DW 621 (Garage sale find $50.00 couldn't pass it up)
Craftsman 315-25031 (Antique, Dad's old router)
HF trim router (Round over bit chucked...permanantly)
HF trim router (Chamfer bit chucked...permanently)
HF trim router (Flush Trim but chucked...permanently)

I know, HARBOR FREIGHT! At less than $20.00 a unit, it makes sense to me to keep them with the specific bit, then grab and go when necessary. I have had them for over two years now and they are still running.
