How Many Routers

How Many Routers DO You Have :D

And what kind ?,make, model, size, HP, out of the routers you have what is your favorite and which one do you wish you didn't buy and why.

I'm sure someone can use this as a guide to buy a new one. :)

I have 1 Craftsman 1 1/8 HP router ( junk ) 1 Craftsman 1 1/2 HP router about 15 years old that is a decent router, my Dewalt DW 618 plunge and fixed base and the DW 625 is under the hood of my router table. I plan on adding a Porter Cable 310 Laminate trimmer soon.

Ok, here goes...I have 2 PC 690s with three bases one of which is dedicated to a Shopsmith router table with the overarm setup. The second 690 generally stays with my Leigh D4 rig. Next is a Ryobi 600 in a Lee Valley table with the Incra Ultra/Intellifence setup. I also have the Veritas fence system and pin routing arm for this table, until I build another one that is! For a powerful stand-alone router I have a Freud FT2000E and the baby is a Ryobi TR30U laminate trimmer.

I suppose I could stretch my count a bit if I include the routing/shaping capabilities of the Shopsmith 510 and the Delta 43-505C router/shaper table. ;) Is there such a thing as too many?

I have two. I have a craftsman 75 year anniversary one that is 1 3/4 HP. I have since upgraded to the Bosch 1617 2.25 hp set. At this point I have 3 fixed bases for it, and 1 plunge base. One of the fixed bases has the router table top height adjustment, the other was on my router table and will go on a horizontal table once it is built. The other is actually for hand held use. ;-)

Actually my router count would be 3 if you count my craftsman/rotozip equivalent.

One Triton TRA001 for table/hand use and one Bosch POF500 for hand use and jig work on lathe. Both plunge type (no fixed bases down here!).

I only have one, and just bought it. A DeWalt 618PK.
