My internet browsing and gaming computer (Asus/Antec/Ati/Crucial/Coursair/WD) I built from parts bought at I have 3 Dell work computers that I like very much and have worked beautifully. 2 Apple (1 clone-Power Computing). And 1 older UMAX . I started with computers in 1985.

I have been a fierce advocate of Mac ever since. If you want to use the computer, get a Mac; if you want to screw around with it trying to make it do what you need to do, get a Wintel. Of Course, web page design has nearly leveled the playing field. Now with the Intel Macs, parallels or VMware can allow one to use Windows software in its own window, and freely copy between the Mac windows and the Windows window.
I couldn't agree with you more. I started a Graphics Design career in 1996, and of course with a Mac. Loved working with a Mac ! In 2000 I started doing cartography on a computer and had to get a Windows machine so I could use AutoCad and play more PC games. What a pain in the arse. I'm constantly telling my wife, "if I had to do this on a Mac, it would be done by now".
