Default New Project - What is it?

Remember, this is the "What is it" forum, so...

My granddaughter asked me to make her a "_______" for her son, who is about 9 months old.

So, what do you think my new project is going to be?
See pics below of material I bought today. This is going to be her Christmas present.

It will be one of the following:

Star Wars bed
Rocking Horse
Toy Box

I'm going with the bed but I suspect it's for a toy box . And cause I'm wrong 99% of the time it's actually for a rocking horse lol

I don't know anything about CNC router tables , but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night

Momma wants to go shopping for kitchen decorations. UGH! I thought we just decorated it with Knotty Alder!

So, I will start my project next week. I have the plans in my head! :-)

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

I'm thinking toy box. Won't need the bed for awhile, so that'll give time to make that. Same with the rocking horse. But will be getting toys.

And I would not put a top on it for various reasons.
The younger a kid is, the harder it is to put away toys, and have to deal with a toy box top too, that's too much.
The top is bound to bop them on the head, sooner or later. Or pinch their fingers or hand.
If there are two kids, sooner or later, one kid will get the other in the box, then sit on the lid.
Better to just wait until the kid is old enough to use it as a seat/bench, then put a hinged top on it.

Call me a craftsman, artisan, or artistic, and I will accept that. Call me an artist and you will likely get a quite rude comment in return. I am not a @#$%ing artist.

Now that's funny right there! But probably true.

Well, I won't keep y'all in suspense any longer. It is going to be a toy box.
One just like the other ones I have built - 5 so far. They look like the pics below.
Since I don't have to deal with milling any lumber and gluing up and flattening the pieces, it should go pretty fast.

Fast is good sometimes. I already have another request from my daughter, who is expecting her second kiddo the week of Christmas. :-)

This time it will be a changing station/dresser or something like that. She has her thoughts and I have some ideas.

Looks like it won't be boring around here through the end of the year. :-)
