These are a big help in the shop especial if you work alone. I'm sure some of you have these, maybe not yellow ones but at least something like them.

Give us the low down on what they are and how they work. The first detailed answer that is also correct wins and get 100 points. Remember you have to play to win.....

You have to plywood to win....... so where are all the guesses or better yet someone who knows what these are. They were sold as a pair but you might only use one..... hints enough for now.

Gee I did not expect this to be so hard..... I even gave hints........ I see slots that 1/4" plywood or other material could fit in....... same with 1/2" and 3/4". OK now someone should be able to get this.

Ed my guess it fits in the saw kerf when you cut a full size sheet of plywood. This keeps the kerf from pinching shut while you rip the sheet. Just a guess.
Good detective work! Yes you can slid one or two of these in the kerf to keep the plywood/simular material from tipping and closing up on your cut. I end up mostly working alone since the kids grew up and left so they come in handy.

The points are on the way.
