We were finishing up x-mas shopping yesterday (well... Matt was, I was just browsing) we missed going to Sears at the mall, he was in need of a new router bit to finish up something for today.... I suggested Sears Hardware (mistake #1) and he agreed (mistake #2).
We browsed around waiting for the sales associate to get done with whatever the previous customer was wanting and I was looking at the scrollsaws. You can only guess what happened next.
Me to Matt: "Honey, get a cart. We're not leaving this here."
They had on super close out sale their professional scroll saw.... Having just bought their "professional" model table saw a few months ago, and their "professional" router bits (and they said made in Italy- by perhaps Freud???) I was figuring it would be a nice tool to round out and make more detailed pieces.
... So as we venture into it I've read some not so good reviews, and a few good tips on how to fix things. The one thing I am getting is the pinless adapter, The pinless 360 degree cutting capability seems like a must have.
I'm anxiously looking forward to making something on it, but I'd like to do a bit more basic reading, anyone have any good websites? of course I'm reading through back posts here.
