Scrollsaw Workshop

Bob,

Thanks for the link to Steve's website. I am amazed at how many free plans and patterns that he has up there. It cost me an hour or so last night to go through all of them. (it was either that or keep painting the ceiling in the living room...)

Thanks again for a great little resource,

Doug

Doug,

You are most welcome. I love to share what I find out there and Steve's site is certainly one of the better one's that I have run up on. I have been visiting his site ever since I got my scroll saw a few months ago and have learned a lot from his teaching and generousity.

Scrollsaw Workshop: Rapid Fire Rubber Band Gun Scroll Saw Pattern

Of course, I only made this one for the kids... Still needs a lot of sanding, but a fun toy none the less.

Now only 180 more patterns of his left to check out.

Hi Doug,

That is a really great project and on my list of "want to do" in about another year. The grandboys are just a little young yet for the rubberband gun stage.

Yours turned out looking GREAT! I like the contrasting wood. I know what you mean about wanting to do all his projects, Steve is a fantastic teacher and sure makes it easy with the free patterns

I'll post my latest project hopefully tomorrow after the finish dries. I did the tow truck and car pattern for the youngest.

Thanks for the picture Doug!

So Doug, is that why you have a second one tucked behind the edge of your lathe? ...purely for defensive purposes, of course!
