Default Sears CompuCarve/ Carvewright

I have a CompuCarve machine that belonged to my late brother-in law that I need sell. I know that it is 10 years old, but was used a very few times. The memory card and the card programmer are missing. When I power it up I get just a dark line on the upper line, nothing on the lower line. None of the buttons do anything. I have no idea what is worth
Anybody want to take a chance with it, make an offer, or give me an idea of how much I should ask for it. I can send photos if interested,

Thanks,
Doug

Doug,
Could you list a serial number? I am thinking this may have been purchased through Sears because of the age. The items you are missing can be purchased. The older Carvewright machines had some issues with the cable drives and the machine head. Once they were replaced they worked OK. The Serial number will determine if this unit happens to be one of the first generation. If it is one of the first built, this may explain why it was used very little. Not sure if this is any help to you.
