Thank you! It's my first large furniture, learned a lot about how to assemble large pieces.
All visible corners are half-lap mitered with hand tools. Since the top has fairly large area, I used breadboard joint to allow wood movement.
David asked about finish. For mahogany, I sealed with Timbermate wood filler, stained with Minwax mahogany color, then used several coats of wipe on poly. For cherry, three coats of orange shellac was applied, then finished with Minwax One Coat.
