That ended up with a great finish, Bill.

Do you see any problems with the bark coming of at a later date?

Thanks for your question, James. I don't think the bark will come off as I have already sanded it extensively. I guess only time will tell. The live edges also have 10 coats of hemp seed oil and 2 coats of my hemp seed oil/beeswax mixture. Take care, Bill Major

Hi, Bill.

The wood rings look great in the pictures. I also like the colors contrast.

Well done.

That's a beautiful cheese board. I really like the live edge.
One question, though. Is the hemp seed oil legally obtained from a medical dispensary?

Hi Gene. Thanks for your question. In Canada, we can farm and cold press hemp seeds to make hemp seed oil. I buy mine from a company near Barrie, Ontario, about an hour's drive from our house, from a firm called Hempola. I know they ship all over the world, including to the United States. You can look up their website on the net. Take care, Bill Major

Thanks very much, Alexis. The wood rings are unique to my live edge woork. My work is on cross cuts of reclaimed black cherry wood. This makes them look very natural anf my finish with hemp seed oil and beeswax highlights the wood patterns. Thanks, again for you response. Billy Boy
