Hi Corey

I'm not a guru but I sure like FD-SR #3 & #5 blades I got from Mikes #3 will cut 3/4" thick walnut/maple/plywood ver. just like a butter and no sanding needed after the cut.
You can find the FD-SR blades in town I'm sure but the ones from Mike are better than the ones I found in town.(last longer and stay sharper)

What blade do you scroll guru's recommend for 1/4 and 3/8 hardwood? Not double stacked, just singles. Also if I was using 1/8 and 1/4 hardwood plywood what would size blade would you use for that?

I agree... Mike carries the best scroll blades money can buy...
He is a great source of information too...

You could ask him the same question (for a 2nd. opinion )... and probably get the same answer.

Same ones (FD-SR #3 blade) I cut 1/4" and 1/2" all the time for templates and it cuts it so clean you can hardley see it when you put the parts together as one again.

Thanks BJ, got a dozen of those. That's what I want to do is make templates. About the only thing my scroll saw will get used for these days.

they do like to wander to one side(right side) a bit in the MDF stock but that's true for most scholl blades also.

Yes that is pretty typical with scroll saws to get that wander to the right, you have to be ready for that right off as you start your cut. How did the box turn out?
