Looks just like mine! Only diff is the elev crank has been relocated.
Does that make me "vintage" or just my saw?

 

I have this same saw in use today. Only difference is mine is a 10" saw. Still makes great cross cuts.

 

Yes the elevation crank is on the back of the column on this model. It's kind of awkward but it's still a nice little setup.

 

I still have, and use this saw in my shop. Also have the owners manual that came with it and some of the attachments. Only use it for cross cuts now but in the past built several projects with it. Purchased it, I believe in the 1960's .
