I became a little tired of having to move the LS TS fence positioner from its position on the rails where it sets when being used with the TS, to a position near the router table which sets at the left end of the rails. Probably the only members that know what I'm talking about are those that have an Incra LS TS system.
Anyway today I ordered a second LS, system, the 17" version, that will set near the router table and will allow the TS to still be used when the router is in use. The available ares between the left side of the TS blade and the base of the second LS system is enough to easily accommodate the majority of the cuts that I make on the TS. If more space is required the second LS system can simply be lifted off ot the rails and out of the way.
If the arrangement doesn't work out the way I have in mind, I can just go ahead and get the larger router table and stand from Incra and have a stand alone router set up which would certainly be the best way to go, but cost of that would be more than twice what I'm attempting to do first and I suspect that it will work just fine.
Just an idea.
