I have been making wood signs for fun for years. I have only routed a couple (with good success). I'm anxious to make many more using the guide bushings, freehand, and some carved. I currently have a Bosch 1615EVS plunge router that is a pleasure to use. I also use a Skil mounted on my table saw on a router/shaper extension.
