I have a Bosch 1617 and Rockler router table with a manual router lift. I know the Bosch router has fine tune above the table but moving the router up high enough to change bits or completely remove the router for external use is a hassle. So I am thinking of one of the following.
1. Buy a new lift and dedicated router that always stays on the table.
2. Buy a new lift that allows you to change bits above the table, fine tune bit height above the table AND allows the router to be quickly released for use away from the router table.
