I recently used a newly acquired Sommerfield Pocket Hole jig. Having completed its first project I found this to be a great value at 90.00USD Its all metal construction is well machined and the jigs precison repeatability reduces all errors to operator induced. Drilling blocks are easily removed and used independent of the jig with kit provided locking "C" clamp. This tool gets gets top marks in my book

For my use mainly face frame construction it is more than adequate. The angle of the block is designed for the screw hole to emerge 3/8" from edge of board. The larger block 3/4" If using stock up to 1 1/8" the smaller is adequate. 1 1/4" and up the large works. the 1/8" difference to between 5/8 and 3/4 isn'y important to me The CL that the PC gives isn't worth the price difference
