Hello,
I am new to this forum and am looking for information on a Stanley Router 90090 motor. This is an older router and I could use help locating brushes for it and information on the proper way to replace the brushes in the router. I bought it used and, and of course, it came without an owner's manual. Would appreciate help. Thanks

Bosch bought out the Stanley router division years ago but never published the old manuals. Real hardware stores or small appliance repair shops are the place to go for brushes to fit old routers like this one. Nostalgia is nice but you are really better off looking for a newer router in most cases. Sears sells a Craftsman combo kit for under $100 that is much easier to use. This would allow you to use 1/2" shank bits which are stronger and offer less vibration for about the same cost.
